Reflective Writing 3

I have learned a lot of things in ethics course. The course talks about people choices if they are with or against something. Our teacher gave us a lot of example to explain what does mean ethics and also gave us a lot of new vocabulary. My reflective writing 1, I talked about a man saw boy drown and he didn’t know how to swim. So if I’m that man what I will choose to help or to ignore. That’s why teacher ordered us to write if we understand this course or not.

 I have learned also many things in ZHO. It was my first time to go there and see those people in real life. What I mean the way how they teach them in the school. How they can teach them and what the things that they have to careful. Because those students in ZHO need special way to care of them and how to teach them by gentle and merciful.

Teacher showed us the different world how the people think. For example in marriage. Some countries they get married early and some lately. People trying to stop marry from cousins because of disease. The teacher showed us a video was in Qatar. It was about dialogue to stop get married from cousins to stop disease.

The course was interesting and seriously I feel like I have changed from inside from what I learned from this course. We have to treat people by full respect no matter how they are. We have to help them if we can but help them for something useful not useless. What goes around comes around. This expression means that if you do evil, some day evil will be done to you. However, it can also mean that if you do good, good will be done to you.

Zayed Higher Organization report

Zayed Higher Organization

I went to ZHO for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs for 6 weeks with a group of students from Higher Colleges of Technology.

In ZHO there are many sections for students like who studying have a section  and other section who need to care of them, what I mean there is levels for teaching those students who need care and special needs for example

 first week we went for a student’s that are difficult to understand them. This is because of accident cars or because when they are born they can speak there is no problem with speaking but they have problem with moving. If they want to move from place to place we have to help them and some they don’t have legs or hands. So we tried to not feel them so sad. We tried to make them happy and feel normal. We played with them by their toys sometime we joked with them, however we have to be serious sometime because if we take more fun and more jokes those students will become crazy and making a lot of problems. So every time we have to care what we are doing. We are trying to learn how can we talk and do for  those students. They are not just any students like we see every day. Those students need special way to chat or play with them.

Other weeks we went for students who can understand what they are doing and they are possibility to find job in the future. Like I said not all students are same level. Some of them can study like we study in our college. We went to students who study about engineering and that day we really enjoyed with them because they studying and doing same things that we do. we connect electrical circuit together we did some fixing problems in electricity and we have learned some new things from them.  

End of weeks we started help them to clean the stuff in their classes and fixing some computers connection a wires for internet.

This is in general what we did in ZHO and we have learned how we can deal with those disabled.
